| 13.00-16.00: | Lecture: “Malaria Rapid tests (HRP-2 and pLDH)" by Sarika. Aim: review the principle of both types of tests and their limitations Participants share their experience in using rapid test (Problems encountered when using the tests). Questions and answers with concrete cases. |
| Day 2: | Topics: "Species differentiation PF and PV on the thin and thick smear" "Practice how to do a malaria smear" "Fixing and staining" Materials needed: Training slide set (PF, PV) Site: SMRU |
