The list of FAQs and answers presented here is aimed at medical personnel working in malarious areas of the world, in particular those working for medical International Non Governmental Organizations (iNGOs). We at SMRU have conducted research on ACTs on the Thai Burmese border for the past 12 years. Despite the endorsement of this approach to antimalarial treatment by the World Health Organization, information on ACTs is often difficult to obtain for INGOs in the field and ACTs are often not used properly.
