The Malaria Task Force is providing training courses for medics and laboratory technicians. Twice a year a meeting is organised for the local and expatriate staffs of the NGOs to exchange information on malaria and to provide an update on the treatment protocols and latest research results. A practical Hand Out is distributed along with other relevant material. For over 18 months, links have been developed with other groups working Asia and confronting malaria (vide infra). Access to electronic mail has considerably facilitated the diffusion of the information.
